I've been doing some work lately with oil pastels and decided to try an aircraft. It gives a bit of a looser feel to the work than gouache or acrylics. Depicted here is the P-51 of Lt. Warren E. Lewis, 3434rd fighter squadron, 55th fighter group.

Gilles Villeneuve Tribute
The 30th anniversary of Gilles Villeneuve's death was commemorated yesterday by Ferrari. Gilles' son Jacques took the wheel of the 312 T4 driven by his father in 1979 and took it at top speed around the track in in Fiorano, Italy. This images shows Jacques at the wheel of his father's car, with his trademark blue/pink/yellow/black/red multi-colored helmet. I will render this digital comp in oil pastel eventually.
