Bach Music Posters

A couple of graphic design ideas for music posters, one for Bach's Cantata BWV 67, the other for his Easter Oratorio, BWV 249. Each image has imagery and verbage pertinent to the themes of each cantata. The Cantata BWV 67 was composed for the first Sunday after Easter in 1724. His Easter Oratorio was composed in Leipzig and first performed on 1 April 1725. I am planning on building a body of this type of work.

Light My Fire

Another in my series of musicians portraits that I would like to complete with pastels. Jim Morrison was a poet and musician who possessed a bit of a brooding personality. He was a fiercely independent and free thinker who sought for ways to express himself through words and music. Pastel on Paper, 25.25" x 11".
