Sonic Stangs (update)

Further progress on the acrylic sketch. The overall effect is coming to life slowly, trying to get the feel of the neon signage in the early evening light to convey a classic automotive diner scene. The larger piece will be a challenge for sure, but this sketch will give me a good base to go by.

Sonic Stangs WIP

Further progress on the acrylic sketch for Sonic Stangs. The masking for this is proving to be a challenge, a lot of nit-picky cutting and masking. The larger original may be better rendered with gouache, a conclusion I arrived at while dealing with the challenges of the sketch. Logistically it may be more efficient for me to render it in gouache, it has to do with my working method, don't ask, lol.

Maddy's Prom

Tonight is my daughter's prom and this afternoon we took a few pictures before heading to her friend's house for a little meet and greet and more photos. How time flies, it seems only yesterday that she was a baby.

Work on Display at Bowmanville Town Hall

I put up my display today for the month of June at the Bowmanville Town Hall. I'm pleased with it.
