Winter Scene in Acrylics
Started this one yesterday, acrylic on stretched canvas, 9x7. Still a lot of detailed work to be done in the middle ground with lots of branches and further detailing on the birches. I love the quickness of these small paintings.

Beethoven Acrylic Sketch (Partial)
The incomplete colour sketch started yesterday. The pencil version is cropped closer but I feel the additional space can add to the dramatic effect that I would like to convey of Beethoven's turbulent and larger than life persona and achievements. His music was all about drama and contrast. A full size pastel will come later this year. Acrylic on board, 7.5" x 9"
