Bruce Trail and Billy Bishop Museum
Had a very nice weekend with my kids, Michael and Maddy and Michael’s girlfriend Sarah. We went up to Tobermory and enjoyed a hike along the Bruce Trail portion that leads to “Devils Monument. It is accessed off Highway 6 to the Dyers Bay parking lot. Prior to that we managed to get in some kayaking and canoeing and a nice breakfast at the quaint restaurant at Summer House Road. Stopped at the Billy Bishop Museum in Owen Sound on the way back. The museum is well worth the $5 admission, full of original artifacts and interesting facts about Canada’s most famous aviation ace.https://www.owensound.ca/en/billy-bishop-museum.aspx/

Acrylic Sketch (Wednesdays at Haugens) WIP
Here's a phone shot of a small acrylic WIP that I will use as the basis for a larger pastel. We have a '70 Baldwin Motion Camaro in the foreground and a partial Mustang Boss in the lower corner. The scene depicts the seasonal car meetups at Haugen's Diner in Port Perry. I've never actually been to one but would like to check it out if I get a chance. I've driven past there many times. I goes back to 1953. Here is a link to their story. http://www.haugens.com/about/
