PONTIAC GTO DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION IN VECTOR

I began another vector illustration, this time a Pontiac GTO “The Judge”. I hope it will be of similar quality to my Grandville from last August when it’s done.

Mario Andretti Lotus 79 "Car"- icature

Trying my hand at another F1 caricature, this time it is Mario Andretti’s Lotus 79 from 1978. I rendered it in vector but I may also render it up with coloured pencils similar to my recent Villeneuve 126CK once this digital version is complete.

Gregory "Pappy" Boyington

Gregory “Pappy” Boyington (December 4, 1912 - January 11, 1988) was an American combat pilot who was a United States Marine Corps fighter ace during World War II. He was a Medal of Honor and Navy Cross recipient. Boyington was portrayed by Robert Conrad in the TV series "Black Sheep" squadron which aired between 1976 and 1978. Pencil on Canson paper.

We visited Gordon Lightfoot's hometown of Orillia yesterday and also saw his childhood home. Great documentary about him at gem.cbc.ca Then search for Gordon Lighfoot: If you could read my mind. The word portrait is digital. The lyrics from his song “Race Among The Ruins” were used in generating it.
