Don't know where you find the patience to do that type of pencil work Norbert . The sketch looks great. I used to stipple traction engines with Rapidograph architects pens . Satisfying but mentally draining by finish time.
A lot of the trick has to do with the toothy surface of the paper which softens the application of the pencil allowing for quicker blending, and a good contrast in lead softness, ranging from 2B to 8B. I think the same of Wade Meyer's pencil work, boy is he meticulous! Cheers!
