John Lennon WIP

I began another portrait to add to a series of musicians that I'm working on, this time of John Lennon, who is one of the most influential figures in rock music. He was recently voted eighth in a BBC poll of the 100 greatest Britons, and is ranked as the fifth-greatest singer of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. Oil pastel on paper, 17" x 22".
