Marta

A pencil portrait. I wanted to capture a bit of a “renaissance” feel to this one as the pose is very regal. I will re-do this pose with an alternate background though before I determine which image to depict in colour with oil pastels. Marta took the shot herself and when I saw it I just had to depict it. Marta’s father was a gifted photographer and I think that Marta has inherited some of that talent.Pencil on Strathmore Paper. 9.75" x 13"
